Copper - Contact 1-Way Sync (Duplicate Contacts)

Important Notes

We highly recommend against enabling the "Auto-Sync Contacts" functionality within the mobile app. If enabled, your CRM will get filled with duplicate contacts and non-useful people. Ensure that no employees enable this.
If you are the only person at your company using the CRM, this option could be enabled, but even then, we highly recommend against doing this in an effort to keep your CRM clean.

This feature was developed for solopreneurs and individuals, not for companies.


How-To Freshly Re-Sync From Copper

This will trigger a full re-sync of contacts from Copper to Google Contacts, cleaning up some duplicate contacts if you have more contacts in your Copper label than in Copper altogether.
You should do this after cleaning up your Copper account to then push those cleaned up changes to your Google Contacts.
Everyone on your team will need to individually do this.
Select the "Copper" label
Select all contacts within the Copper label and delete them
Delete the "Copper" label afterward
Visit Copper settings and go to "Set Up Google → Google Sync Settings"
Disable/Re-enable the "Google Contact 1-way Sync" setting
Please give it 15+ minutes to sync over, more if you have many contacts
